STAND TO REASON AND DEBATE ALTRUISTICALLYTEAM POLICY DEBATE CLUB
Nature of the organization:
STRADA is a voluntary, homeschooling, family-
based organization which provides practice in team policy debate for the National Christian Forensics and Communication Association (the "NCFCA"). We fully support the mission statement of the NCFCA, and seek to provide a structured, positive environment in which our students can develop their dialectic skills. Believing that as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another, this organization focuses on the practice of debate skills, rather than lectures or teaching. Our students accept the responsibility of leading the club, as well as the cooperative mission of refining their own skills and those of their teammates. Our mission is to develop speakers who are both technically excellent and young people of integrity - able to engage the culture in
their quest to glorify God in their daily lives.
