First Annual Cowtown Open NCFCA Regional Speech and Debate Tournament a HUGE Success
On March 27-29 North Texas hosted to several hundred students from four states competing in numerous speech and debate events. Thanks to all who participated in this event as it took countless hours of work to make this a success.
Start planning now for the 2009 2nd Annual Cowtown Tournament. Best to let the 2008 staff rest a week or so before saying anything out loud, however.
North Texas to host NCFCA Regional Speech and Debate Tournament
On March 27-29 North Texas will play host to several hundred students who will be competing in numerous speech and debate events. Tournament director, Jeff Craig, a founding member of the STRADA Debate Club, is coordinating countless individuals from multiple speech and debate clubs in order to make this tournament a success.

This tournament will result in many student competitors qualifying to move on to the Regional Tournament in April which will be in Houston, TX. Those who succeed in the Regional Tournament will then advance to the National Tournament in June.
